December 2007 -- Marc Launches VideoDistrict.ca
After a few months of research and development Video District launches their website videodistrict.ca. Created with co-founder Tony Schibono of Arktyp Inc, the company allows local businesses to self-promote using the largest network available...the Internet. With the website going live in December 2007, the team is excited to promote themselves and others aggressively in the new year.

Sept/Oct 2007 -- Tabla Shoring Corporate Video
March Forward Films travels to Vancouver, Calgary and LA to shoot a corporate video for a Mississauga construction systems company. The video was about branding the companies identity and product as well as getting clients testimonials regarding the efficiency of the product.

Aug 2007 -- March Forward Films moves to Liberty Village
In August, March Forward Films incorporates and moves into an office space in Toronto's Liberty Village. Marc is sharing a space with designer Tony Schibono from Arktyp Inc. The space houses a new HD online edit suite. A MacPro Xeon Quad Core running the latest version of Final Cut Studio. The suite also runs a AJA Kona 3 card for input and output of uncompressed HD.

Jan/Feb 2007 -- Marc travels to Saudi Arabia
On January 2nd Marc travels to Saudi Arabia to produce and direct a few different projects for a local Saudi company named Spotlight Global Productions. In total he produced 2 half hour business documentaries, 8 commercials embedded in the shows as well as 2 ten minute corporate videos. The business docs were aired on CBS in New York , Boston and Dallas. The trip was an eye opening experience in one of the worlds most secluded and religious states.

Sept/Oct/Nov 2006 -- Marc produces and directs 5 music videos for Toronto artists.
Over a course of three months, March Forward Films produces 5 music videos for local Toronto Urban Artists. In September we shot Pizzo's "The Result" in Minden Ontario. In October we shot Sample King's "Bird Flu" and "Agony". In November it was Kayte Burgess' "Now you know" as well as Zerell's "Thinkin About U". All videos were shot on Marc's HVX200 using a prime lens adapter.

June 2006 -- Marc acquires HVX-200 HD Camera System, Ideas enters Montreal Festival
The newest asset to March Forward Films is Panasonic's latest DVCPRO HD quality camera, the HVX-200. The camera will be put to use in the first week of august for an upcoming music video for local artist Corey "Pizzo" Papizzo. The video will be the duo's second collaboration, with Marc producing and directing for March Forward Films. Ideas of Reference will makes it's Canadian premiere at Montreal's World Film Festival which begins on August 24th. The film is currently waiting for replies from 13 other film festivals both domestic and international.

May 2006 -- Website Launch, Ideas of Reference wins award.
It's not called March Forward Films for nothing, designed by Arktyp Inc, Marc launches marchforwardfilms.com, to take himself and the company forward. On another note of forward progress, the Houston Film Festivals has recently granted Marc's first short "Ideas of Reference" a bronze in the best suspense/thriller category. The film is still currently being sent to festivals until the fall when it will be marketed for potential sales and broadcast.

April 2006 -- Temporary Location Change
Upon returning from six weeks of work in Qatar, literally the next day, Marc moves from Toronto to Mississauga. The move is temporary with more work abroad foreseen in the near future, but he is very much based in Toronto and plans to open an office space downtown in 2007.

April 2006 -- Six Weeks in Qatar
In late February, one week after returning to Canada from Trinidad and Tobago, Marc leaves for the State of Qatar, located in the persian gulf. There he teams up with Mira Gojkovic, a serbian producer living in Antwerp, Belgium. The team shoots 3 thirty minute shows, two for Fox5 and one for CNBCasia. They interview many ministers, CEO's and diplomats, shoot hours of b-roll as well as shoot many corporate ads to fulfill the required content of the shows. After six weeks Marc returns to Canada with a better understanding of Arab culture, one which he found very friendly and extremely hospitable. He hopes to return to the region for work in the future.

February 2006 -- Indie Artist photo shoot.
Marc uses his Studio one last time before the future move to Mississauga to do a photo-shoot for Indie bands GrandPM and Red Rocket. As well as RnB artist Mike Rosso and Canada's next hip hop sensation Pizzo. Marc enlists the help of friend and fellow photographer Chris Mably (see Bigz and Pizzo in filmography!) to shoot the various bands. See attached pics.

February 2006 -- 3 weeks in Trinidad and Tobago
In late january, Marc leaves the cold winter of Canada to go shoot a 30 minute country profile for Fox5 in sunny Trinidad and Tobago. There he teams with French-Moroccan producer Hatime Lachheb and the two shoot many notable interviews including the Prime Minister Patrick Manning. The two were sadden to leave the country only ten days before it's world famous carnival, but made sure to experience the many soca induced pre carnival parties which starts basically around christmas time. And of course they had to visit Tobago for a few days to escape the hectic downtown Port of Spain. The experience and the final product were both great.

December 2005 -- Bahamas before Christmas.
Marc goes to the Bahamas to meet producer Monica Lim for two weeks to shoot a country profile for Fox5 in the US. The two interview many prominent figure in the business community as well as the American Ambassador to the country. Mainly shot in Nassau and the remainder of the capital's island, they did however travel to Freeport to shoot within one of the world's largest shipping container yard. The country was also in the midst of preparing for it's largest cultural festival known as Junkanoo. The event takes place on Boxing day, but unfortunately Marc left on Christmas eve to be at home in Canada for christmas day in Ottawa.

November 2005 -- Marc travels to Bermuda.
Marc travels to Bermuda working as a freelance cameraman for Toronto based Bling Video. There he teams with Fransico Reyes to shoot a 30 minute country profile which will be broadcast on Fox5 in the New York tri-state area which included Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The show's are aimed at US investors seeking business opportunities abroad and usually feature the countries top CEO's, ministers and other prominent figures in the business community. The experience made Marc eager to travel to other countries and has lead to a successful partnership with Bling Video.

October 2005 -- Ideas of Reference Finished.
After a long post-production process mainly due to financial constraints, Marc completes the short film "Ideas of Reference". The press kit is completed and the film is sent to a handful of festivals both national and international. After a run of a year or so on the festival circuit Marc will try to sell the short to various markets. He also has started work on a second short film titled "Bungled and Botched". March 2005 - Pizzo Video Shoot.
Marc is granted a Videofact for the song "What am I to you" by Corey "Pizzo" Papizzo from Uxbridge. The video was shot on three different days a couple of weeks apart. The song is a biography of the three different cultures from which the artist is a descendant, Irish, Italian and Native American. The video was shot in Marc's apartment loft, a bar in Uxbridge and in the Kawartha lakes area. The video is a precursor to Pizzo's upcoming album title "Storitella", which will be released in late 2006.
